He eventually gets so big, he barely fits in the nest (no pics from that stage)....and as you can kind of see the nest was built on a slant (in our lilac bush), so I was always worried he'd fall out before he could fly. I did see both baby and momma together in the nest, they were huddled together as a storm started to blow in. I guess I should learn to trust nature more, because the nest held up through all kinds of weather and the "big bird" stayed there until he couldn't fit anymore.
